It will be like the dearly departed Fire Joe Morgan, but better, smarter and constructive. We will be the Poynter of blogging baseball. The Jim Romensko‘s of America’s pastime writing.
We will be that cast of characters who are fun, relevant and on-point.
This is to better the baseball blogging community, not tear it down.
We want to help. We want to be to support. We want to constructively criticize.
We will point out the bad. We will suggest how it can be better.
We will raise expectations of baseball blogging everywhere.

I like your pitch. I could see this as a commercial with visuals and music to accompany your message. You’ve gone from one ombudsman to a team of them though. This is fine, just make sure you are clear and consistent in your plans.
